چکیده

A Brain Computer Interface (BCI) is developed to navigate a micro-controller based robot using Emotiv sensors. The BCI system has a pipeline of 5 stagessignal acquisition, pre-processing, feature extraction, classification and CUDA interfacing. It shall aid in serving a prototype for physical movement of neurological patients who are unable to control or operate on their muscular movements. All stages of the pipeline are designed to process bodily actions like eye blinks to command navigation of the robot. This prototype works on features learning and classification centric techniques using support vector machine. The suggested pipeline, ensures successful navigation of a robot in four directions in real time with accuracy of 93 percent. Dual Space Control of a Deployable Cable Driven Robot: Wave Based Approach

Known for their lower costs and numerous applications, cable robots are an attractive research field in robotic community. However, considering the fact that they require an accurate installation procedure and calibration routine, they have not yet found their true place in real-world applications. This paper aims to propose a new controller strategy that requires no meticulous calibration and ...

An Exploration of the Utilization of Electroencephalography and Neural Nets to Control Robots

It has long been known that as neurons fire within the brain they produce measurable electrical activity. Electroencephalography (EEG) is the measurement and recording of these electrical signals using sensors arrayed across the scalp. The idea of Brain-Computer interfaces (BCIs), which allow the control of devices using brain signals, naturally present themselves to many extremely useful appli...

Electroencephalograph (eeg) Based Brain Computer Interface (bci) for Controlling Real Time Robot Arm

In this paper, development of non-invasive neural signals to drive a 2R robotic arm is presented. A brain computer interface based on steady state visual evoked potentials (SSVEP) is used. For stimulation stimuli arrow with different colours (red, black and violet) is used that flicker with different frequencies of 6.5 and 8.2 Hz respectively. PYTHON is used for online signal acquisition and MA...

Robust Control of Electrically Driven Robots in the Task Space

In this paper, a task-space controller for electrically driven robot manipulators is developed using a robust control algorithm. The controller is designed using voltage control strategy. Based on the nominal model of the robotic arm, the desired signals for motor currents are calculated and then the voltage control law is proposed based on the current errors and motor nominal electrical model....
